Titanium climbing anchors

Grade 2 titanium glue-in anchors, forged lower-off rings and quick links, machined and cold-formed in Krabi. The titanium hardware contains no welds, so there is no sensitised heat-affected zone to corrode.

Titanium is not susceptible to the sulphide stress cracking that destroys stainless hardware at high-sulphate coastal crags, and not susceptible to chloride stress corrosion cracking. Building an anchor entirely in one metal also removes the galvanic cell that forms where components of different metals meet.

Material is verified by third party OES against ASTM B265 for every batch, and every batch is proof load tested before it ships. See materials and corrosion for the failure mechanisms, and safety and testing for the test data.
